Google Testing Question Hub In The U.S. For COVID-Related Queries

In 2018, Google started to test a way for searchers to submit questions to Google manually. Then, in 2019, it launched in Google India as Question Hub. This was a way for searchers to let Google know when they can’t find the content they are looking for.

This feature is now being tested in US based searches as a way for Google to identify content gaps for CONVID-19 related queries.

Below is an example by Dan Leibson on Twitter. Although he is in the US, Google said this is a limited pilot in the US for some COVID related queries when it is trying to understand content gaps.

The launch of this feature began in India, Indonesia and in Nigeria in English, Hindi and Bahasa Indonesia. The US Question Hub is a tool that lets creators to create richer content by leveraging unanswered questions.

“Question Hub collects these unanswered user questions and surfaces them to bloggers, writers, and content creators like you,” Google said over here.
