We’re human, and as such, we make mistakes. Marketers are human as well, and because of that, there will be times when they’ll slip up doing their jobs. Making mistakes in SEM is a pretty common occurrence to be honest, but luckily, if you know what you’re doing, they can be easy to find of fix.
But if you don’t catch them early enough, they could turn into something much worse, so you need to make sure that you are always vigilant when looking for mistakes so you can fix them when they are still manageable.
Some of these SEM mistakes includes:
- Failing to control your spend.
- Structuring the account wrong from the start
- Applying engine recommendations haphazardly
- Not utilizing negative keywords.
- and more
