Facebook Ads Offers Advertisers Millions in Ad Credits After Reporting Error

There is a potential error that Facebook miscalculated the number of sales attributed to ad impressions for certain advertisers from August 2019 to August 2020.

The error has to do with campaigns that use Facebook’s free and August 2020. The error is related to campaigns using Facebook’s free “conversion lift” tool.

Facebook, in order to make things right, is offering ad credits to accounts that had been meaningfully impacted by this error.
