Strong Commerce For Social Commerce And Digital Shopping

Before the COVID pandemic hit in early 2020, we were all able to go out and partake in shopping in brick and mortar stores without a care in the world, but now, almost a year after the start of the pandemic, it’s clear that we have accelerated the transition to e-commerce by years, all thanks to COVID.

This comes from the Shopper Experience Index, from user review and UGC management platform Bazaarvoice, where 11,500 brand and retailer websites were polled. According to the report, after the pandemic hit, 36% of US shoppers reduced the amount of trips to brick and mortar stores, while 20% just aren’t shopping in-store at all.
