It has been officially confirmed that next week, Apple’s new opt-in data tracking prompts for apps will be rolling out to iOS users with the 14.5 update.
Facebook recently issued a reminder to developers and advertisers how they will be able to prepare and what is likely to be impacted due to this iOS update.
Apple’s controversial ‘AppTrackingTransparency’ (ATT) update will allow users to opt-in to approve the app’s data tracking, via prompts. If users choose to accept the prompt, iOS will stop the iOS from sharing in-app activities.
