Support For Google Expanded Text Ads Sunsets On June 30

Google’s Expanded Text Ads – or ETAs – are a type of Google ad that appears in search results that will be ending on June 30 of this year. This means that we have only three months left with these types of ads before they disappear forever.

The original announcement was made last August, where Google said that this change is to ensure that the “right message” shows by dynamically creating ads at the time-of-auction to respond to specific search queries.

When July 1, 2022 rolls around, responsive search ads will be the only ad type you can use in Search campaigns from that moment on.
