We’ve gotten used to seeing plenty of snippets displayed in Google’s search results for a while now, but it seems that those snippets aren’t showing quite as often as they used to.
Several different SERP tracking tools have noticed that Google isn’t showing featured snippets as often as they used to. The tools track a number of different sets of keywords, and based on the data that came from the tools, there was a consistent decline among them all.
To some, this doesn’t seem like a big deal, but to marketers who get a good portion of their traffic from snippets, this could be troubling. What could this mean?
