Yesterday, on January 14th, Twitter announced a world tour to advertise it’s Fabric software development kit in order to warm up to mobile app developers.
The first step of Twitter’s campaign is called Flock, which is a series of meetups and seminars with developers in US cities. The events will take place in Los Angeles and will be led by a team of Developer Advocates who are “piling into a Fabric bus to visit cities from Los Angeles to Detroit.”
Later on this year, there will be half-day conferences led by Twitter in international cites, as well as New York.
There was an announcement that there will be upgrades to the Fabric SDK, which includes crash-to-tester identification, an improved distribution tool, and a sel-service app installs tracking feature.
